Integrations
Plan loads from your own software. The EveryLoading REST API takes a vehicle and a cargo list and returns the optimised position of every item, using the same optimizer as the planner.
Connect EveryLoading to your systems
Most load plans start as order lines in another system. With the API, that system can ask EveryLoading how the order fits, without anyone retyping it.
Transport management (TMS)
Check that an order fits the planned truck before it is confirmed, and attach the load plan to the shipment.
Warehouse management (WMS)
Turn the picked order lines into a loading plan for the dock, with the sequence the crew should follow.
ERP and order systems
Estimate how many vehicles or containers an order needs as soon as it is entered.
Route planners
Pass stop numbers with the cargo so goods for the first drop are loaded nearest the doors.
Types of API
EveryLoading offers one REST API with JSON requests and responses. Every request is authenticated with an API key sent in the X-API-Key header.
| Endpoint | What it does |
|---|---|
| POST /api/v1/optimize | Optimisation. Send the loading space (inside length, width, height in cm, maximum payload in kg, optional loading side), the items (size, weight, quantity, and optional stacking, rotation, shape and stop rules) and optional settings (loading order, several vehicles). Returns the placements, volume utilisation, total weight and the names of items that did not fit. |
| GET /api/v1/presets | Standard loading spaces (20′ and 40′ containers, 40′ high cube, Euro and mega trailer) with inside dimensions and maximum payload. You can always send your own dimensions instead. |

}Key functionalities
- Automatic placement of boxes, pallets, drums and pipes in a truck, container, ULD or pallet of any size
- Payload limit respected; items that do not fit are returned by name
- Stacking rules per item: not stackable, maximum stack height, maximum weight on top, minimum support
- Rotation rules per item: this side up, any orientation, or keep as sent
- Loading from the back or either side
- Multi-stop: a stop number per item, later stops loaded deeper
- Several identical vehicles when one is not enough
- Volume utilisation and total weight for every result
Test access
Pro accounts can create API keys in the Developer portal and start sending requests straight away. Use Enterprise for volume, several systems or a custom agreement.
- Create a free EveryLoading account and upgrade to Pro inside the app.
- Open the Developer portal and create a key. Copy it: it is shown only once.
- Send a request to POST /api/v1/optimize with the key in the X-API-Key header.
Documentation
The Developer portal has the full field reference for requests and responses, ready-to-copy examples in cURL, JavaScript and Python, and your key management.
API FAQ
Who can use the API?
Any account on the Pro plan can create API keys in the Developer portal. For high volumes, several systems or help with an integration, Enterprise is the right plan.
What units does the API use?
Centimetres for all sizes and positions, kilograms for weights. Positions are the corner of each item nearest the origin of the loading space.
Does the API store my data?
No. An optimisation request is calculated and returned; the cargo is not saved as a plan. We record only how often each key is used.
Can the API create PDF load plans or share links?
Not yet. The API returns the placement data. PDFs and share links are made in the planner.
What if a key leaks?
Revoke it in the Developer portal. It stops working immediately, and you can create a new one.
